AKIRA VAN EGMOND | Lessons Learned from the Kettlebell
Monday Jan 17, 2022
Monday Jan 17, 2022
We've got a fun one today, everyone.
If you've listened to the show at all, you know that the kettlebell is near and dear to my heart. So I always appreciate when I see someone using them in a way that catches my eye.
I started following Akira a little over a year ago, because he was doing things with really heavy bells that I've not seen many people do. I was really keen to understand how his mind works when it relates to training. We had a great conversation, and it will inspire you to think of your training differently and be courageous to try some new things.
HIGHLIGHTS:
How Akira began with kettlebells
Training Intuitively
Understanding and crushing the basics
Living to 90 and still squatting
and a ton more
Enjoy this one!

KJ KEIGHTLEY | The Homesteader’s Guide To Freedom
Sunday Jan 09, 2022
Sunday Jan 09, 2022
There have been more conversations around homesteading, prepping, and firearms in the last two years then at any other time in my life. Things that were just a basic part of American life that drifted away because we got comfortable.
And now a lot of people are getting worried.
This week on the show I had the pleasure of chatting with KJ Keightley at his homestead about all of that. He is a farmer, prepper, firearms enthusiast, and a loving husband and father.
If you've got any remote interest in becoming more self-sufficient, you'll want to listen to this episode.
HIGHLIGHTS:
Being bold on Social Media
How to start a homestead (even if you're in an apartment)
Prepping 101
Why most HOA's are bogus
What conservation means to KJ
and way more
Enjoy this one, laugh, and take notes. There's a ton of valuable information in this episode.

ANDY MOECKEL | PASSION, TRADITION, AND THE FLIP FLOP
Monday Jan 03, 2022
Monday Jan 03, 2022
Today my guest is Andy Moeckel, also known as the Flip Flop Guy.
If you haven't heard, seen, or more importantly, tasted the food that comes as a result of his cooking method, you're going to want to listen to this episode.
I had the pleasure of having some elk that Andy prepared using his cooking technique, the Flip Flop and it was unbelievable.
In this conversation we get into what exactly this wild method of cooking is, how it has been passed down through generations in his family along with the signature sauce that you can now purchase, and how to build a business out of something you're truly in love with.
Andy has done things his own way, and his goal is to get the method (which is really an event) into every backyard in America.
I had a blast catching up with him, and I know you'll enjoy what he has to say.

LARRY WHITE | Wild Game Gourmet
Monday Dec 27, 2021
Monday Dec 27, 2021
Larry White is a wild game chef that makes some of the most mouth-watering food I've seen anywhere on social media.
We had a great conversation about how his story and how bodybuilding, the military and cooking all were parts of his journey to becoming an incredible wild game chef.
He's got a lot of great nuggets for anyone who is wanting to get better at cooking not just wild game dishes, but any food you love.
Enjoy this conversation, and then go to the kitchen and get to work!
